Maa Shayari (Mother)

Verses for the first prayer, the first home — a mother.

In almost every Indian household, the word that needs no shayari is the one that inspires the most: maa. A mother is the first prayer we hear and the home we carry everywhere. These verses try, gently, to say the thing that is hardest to say out loud — thank you, I see everything you did, I notice the sacrifices you never mentioned.

Send them on her birthday, on Mother’s Day, or on an ordinary call home that you want to make a little warmer. Each original verse appears in Devanagari, roman transliteration and English meaning.
