Motivational Shayari (Zindagi)

Verses about life, courage and getting back up — to send when someone needs a push.

Not every shayari is about love. Some of the most-forwarded verses in India are the ones about zindagi itself — life as a teacher, struggle as a rite of passage, and the stubborn idea that effort eventually pays. These are the lines people pin to a desk, send to a sibling before an exam, or read to themselves on a flat Monday.

The verses below are written to encourage without preaching: short, grounded, and original. Each comes in Devanagari, roman transliteration and English meaning, ready to share with anyone who could use a reminder that they’re stronger than the day they’re having.

Thokarein hi to raasta banaati hain, Gir ke uthne walon ko manzil bulaati hai.

It is the stumbles themselves that carve out the road — the destination calls to those who rise after every fall.

Manzil unhin ko milti hai jo chalte rehte hain, Baithne walon ko raaste bhula dete hain.

The destination is reached only by those who keep walking — the roads forget those who sit down.

Haar kar baith jaana koi hal nahin, Koshish mein hi chhupi har manzil hai.

Sitting down in defeat solves nothing — every destination lies hidden inside the trying.

Mushkilein to aati hain imtihaan lene, Hausla rakh, tu inse bada hai.

Hardships come only to test you — keep your courage; you are bigger than all of them.

Khwab dekhna koi jurm nahin, Jurm to unhein adhoora chhod dena hai.

To dream is no crime at all — the only crime is leaving those dreams half-finished.

Raah kathin hai to kya hua, Kadam badha, manzil khud chali aayegi.

So what if the road is hard? Take the step, and the destination will come to you on its own.

Suraj bankar jalna seekho, Roshni khud-ba-khud phail jaayegi.

Learn to burn like the sun — and the light will spread of its own accord.

Jo beet gaya uska gham kaisa, Jo aane wala hai use behtar bana.

Why grieve over what is already gone? Make better the thing that is still to come.

Raasta wahi chunna jo dil kahe sahi, Bheed kidhar jaati hai, isse farq nahin.

Choose only the road your heart calls right — which way the crowd is headed makes no difference.

Jo khauf ko peechhe chhod chal pade, Wahi insaan itihaas rach pade.

The one who leaves fear behind and sets off walking — that is the one who goes on to write history.

Chhote sapnon se dil nahin bharta, Oonchi udaan ka hausla rakhna.

Small dreams never fill the heart — keep within you the courage for a higher flight.

Waqt badalta hai, haalaat badalte hain, Himmat rakhi to raaste bhi badalte hain.

Time changes and circumstances change — and if you hold on to courage, even the roads will change.
